Eyes on Salinas – A historical novel set in California’s agricultural heartland, exploring labor, love, and identity against the backdrop of Filipino farmworker struggles and their fight for equality in America. Told through the eyes of an elderly Filipino man in a present-day interview, the story looks back on how one labor leader and his forbidden love changed the course of his life and drew him into the Filipino labor movement for years to come.
